According to Telecommunication Services Council of Ministers Regulations No.47/1999, article 7 (6) ETA has prescribed a new National Numbering Plan (NNP) .
The new NNP:
- The new numbering plan is a closed10 digits numbers.
- It enable to increase the numbering capacity to guarantee, for the future, a sufficient quantity of numbering resource.
- It support to allocate a block of numbers for additional telecommunications services.
- It could develop fair and equitable number resource for telecommunications services as well as subscribers;
- It enable new entrants, if there will be any, acquire their own blocks of numbers.
- It helps to facilitate introduction of number portability.
- It would conform to international efforts on harmonization.
